The Canadian School of Florence (CSF) is a leading international school for students aged 3 to 18, with campuses in Florence and the hilltop town of Fiesole. Since opening its doors in 2017, CSF has quickly become known for its dynamic, values-driven approach to education, inspiring students to become confident, compassionate, and future-ready global citizens.
CSF offers the internationally recognized Ontario curriculum from kindergarten through Grade 12, alongside the Italian paritaria program. Beginning in September 2025, students entering high school will have the opportunity to pursue a Double Diploma – earning both the Ontario Secondary School Diploma and having the additional option of pursuing the Italian maturità diploma within four years. This dual pathway not only enhances academic opportunities in Italy and abroad but also reflects our school's commitment to bilingualism, academic excellence, and global citizenship.
At every level – Junior, Middle, and Senior School – learning is personalized and inclusive. Our small class sizes allow teachers to nurture each student's unique talents and strengths while fostering values such as trust, integrity, fairness, and compassion. Our approach blends rigorous academics with hands-on, experiential learning and an emphasis on wellbeing, creativity, and collaboration.
Rooted in the belief that schools should actively shape a better future, CSF is proud to be part of Globeducate, one of the world's leading international education groups. With over 65 schools across 11 countries, Globeducate schools share a common mission: to prepare students to become global citizens who can shape the world. This means providing real-world learning experiences, from sustainability initiatives to global forums on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and opportunities for students to engage in arts, sports, and academic challenges with peers from across the globe.
Whether through cross-curricular projects, student-led initiatives, local excursions, or international collaborations, CSF students learn to lead with purpose, connect with others meaningfully, and meet the future with curiosity, courage, and heart.
