ICS Côte d'Azur is a bilingual, co-educational, non-sectarian IB World Primary School serving international and local families in the Sophia Antipolis region. The school offers Early Years and Primary Years education from KG1 (age 3) to PY6 (age 11) and is part of the Globeducate network.
Formerly known as EBICA, the school's multicultural community enjoys a modern, secure campus with outdoor learning and sports facilities in Valbonne, southwest of Nice. Recognised as an IB World School since 2018, ICS Côte d'Azur delivers an inquiry-based international education through the IB Primary Years Programme, while integrating aspects of the national curricula for England and France.
Students learn in both French and English from the early years onward. Within this bilingual environment, they develop global citizenship and an appreciation of French culture. Language support is offered from age 7 through French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and English as an Additional Language (EAL), helping learners build the confidence and skills to access the curriculum.
Through learner-centred teaching and a strong culture of care, students are encouraged to develop self-knowledge, independence and resilience. The attributes of the IB Learner Profile guide their academic and personal growth, preparing them to succeed in a diverse and connected world.
To foster creativity, critical thinking and collaboration, ICS Côte d'Azur offers a dynamic STEAM programme (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths), supported by a tinkering lab called The Hub and LEGO® Education Robotics. Outdoor Learning is also woven into the curriculum, offering hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity and connection to the natural world.
At ICS Côte d'Azur, every child is known, valued, and empowered to flourish in a bilingual setting that nurtures both academic and personal growth.
