LEARN AND LIVE IN A UNIQUE FRENCH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN ROME!

For over 60 years, the Institut International Saint-Dominique de Rome (ISD Rome) has welcomed students from around the world, from Nursery to High School, on an exceptional 6-hectare campus just outside the city. Rooted in French and international curricula, our educational approach combines academic excellence with individualized support, nurturing each student's unique potential.

A Truly International Education in the Eternal City

With a 100% success rate in the Baccalaureate, ISD Rome prepares students for entry into top universities worldwide. From an early age, students benefit from a multilingual learning journey, enriched by the opportunity to follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) pathway from Grade 9. "At St Dominique, the IB philosophy is not just an academic framework. It is a transformative journey. It empowers our students to think deeply, embrace diverse perspectives, and engage with the world around them in a meaningful way. I see them grow not only in knowledge, but in confidence, empathy, and purpose. As an educator, guiding them through this process is a true privilege. It is a daily reminder of how powerful education can be when it nurtures both the mind and the heart." – N. Hakmé, IBDP Coordinator at ISD Rome.

Life beyond the Classroom

ISD offers a varied afterschool program with a wide range of sports, artistic, and cultural activities throughout the year. Studying at St Dominique is also an opportunity to take part in bilingual Holiday Camps, combining learning with fun activities. The school was founded by Dominican sisters who laid the foundations for a community of humanistic values. Students are free to participate in moments of spiritual activity.

A multicultural community

Joining ISD Rome means becoming part of a dynamic and diverse community shaped by over six decades of tradition and innovation. As a proud member of the Odyssey Education network, our students take part in international events such as the British Science Week, International Days, Francophonie celebrations, inter-school competitions, and educational trips – all enriching their global perspective.
