IPS Cascais British °ÙÐãÖ±²¥ is located close to Lisbon. The school has been educating children for more than 40 years and has an international community of nearly 400 children from 38 nationalities. Offering the National Curriculum for England from Early Years (EYFS) to Secondary, pupils are working towards achieving their IGCSEs and A Levels.
This vibrant international community fosters a learning environment that promotes global understanding and cultural appreciation. The school is renowned for its high academic standards and encourages pupils to excel in all aspects of the curriculum.
The school was founded in 1982 and has been teaching the National Curriculum for England for 40 years. In 2010, the school moved to its sustainable, purpose-built facilities designed for primary education. This colourful campus includes playing fields, a library with over 22,000 books, and ample outdoor learning spaces. In September 2025, IPS will have Year 7 to 10 classes available in their secondary school, with a brand-new secondary campus set to open in 2026. Over the coming years, IPS Cascais will offer year groups from Early Years to Year 13.
The average class size at IPS Cascais is 22 pupils, with a teacher-student ratio of 1:10. The school places great importance on helping children become healthy, independent, and responsible members of society.
