Lady Elizabeth School: A Community of Global Learners

Lady Elizabeth School (LES) has been delivering high-quality British international education for over 37 years. Located in an inspiring natural setting on Spain's Costa Blanca, LES welcomes students from age 2 to 18, offering a transformative educational experience where Confidence Grows.

At LES, education goes beyond academics. Our mission is to nurture confident, open-minded, lifelong learners who are prepared to thrive in an ever-evolving global world. Blending the British curriculum with international methodologies, we provide an immersive bilingual environment in English and Spanish. This dynamic and inclusive approach helps every student flourish academically, socially, and personally.

Multilingualism at the Core

A central pillar of the LES philosophy is multilingualism. With a vibrant learning community of over 60 nationalities, the school strongly supports language acquisition, offering full immersion in English alongside Spanish, French, and German. Additional mother tongue support is available to further enrich the linguistic experience. This commitment ensures that LES students not only communicate fluently across cultures but are also prepared to lead in a globalized world.

A Broad and Flexible Curriculum

LES offers a broad and balanced academic programme that encourages curiosity and caters to a wide range of interests and talents. From the International Primary Curriculum to GCSEs and A Levels, students can choose from over 20 subjects including Marine Science, Photography, Graphic Communication, Business, or Tourism. Each subject is supported by purpose-built facilities, from science laboratories and a professional recording studio to a photography room, sports courts, swimming pools, and a fully equipped theatre. The breadth of subjects and resources ensures that all learners, whether creatively inclined or scientifically focused, find pathways that match their passions and future aspirations.

Beyond the Classroom

Life at LES is vibrant and fulfilling beyond academics. The school's Plus Clubs offer more than 40 extracurricular activities including robotics, Chinese, cheerleading, public speaking, theatre, sports, and film. Students participate in enriching international experiences through the °ÙÐãÖ±²¥s Partnership programmes such as the ISP Model United Nations, ISP Chess Master, and ISP Filmmakers.

Personal development is also nurtured through leadership opportunities, community service, and globally recognised programmes like the Duke of Edinburgh Award. These experiences build resilience, teamwork, and independence, preparing students for life beyond school.

Exceptional Results and Global Futures

The 2023/24 academic year brought extraordinary achievements. LES students earned:

  • Highest Mark in the World – Graphic Communication
  • Highest Mark in Europe – Photography (achieved by two students)
  • Highest Mark in Spain – English Literature and Russian
  • Outstanding Achievement Award – Marine Science
  • Two A Level students received the Higher Achiever Award (Grade A or above in three subjects) and one GCSE student earned Grade 9 in five subjects

These outstanding results open doors to world-class universities. The graduating class of 2023/24 exemplifies LES's commitment to shaping future leaders and global citizens.

Recent graduates have gone on to pursue:
