Established in 2012 as a natural extension of one of the world's finest co-educational independent schools, Marlborough College Malaysia is a not-for-profit institution that provides a contemporary, challenging and enriching education, preparing pupils for a global future.
Recipient of the prestigious °ÙÐãÖ±²¥ of the Year 2024 from the UK's Times Educational Supplement (TES), and more recently named °ÙÐãÖ±²¥ of the Year by the Boarding Schools' Association (BSA), Marlborough College Malaysia is a leading co-educational, international school for boarding and day pupils aged 3 to 18 years, nestled in 92 acres of stunning Malaysian countryside just 15 minutes from the Singapore border.
Marlborough College Malaysia is a happy, flourishing, and vibrant community where friendships for life are made. Indeed, many of our pupils take the opportunity to develop independence and inter-reliance within the security and care of our outstanding boarding community. The space, facilities but above all, the community of a British international boarding school allows pupils to develop their talents and independence while still being close enough to maintain family bonds.
Guided by our principles of compassion, companionship and conversation, we want our pupils to be the best they can be, and we encourage them to embrace challenges with a sense of independence and determination. With our shared DNA and close links with Marlborough College, we value and instil a breadth of experience, intellectual curiosity, creative joy and sporting excellence. Our co-curricular programme is, quite possibly, second to none in the region, offering a staggering range of opportunities in sports, arts, service, and leadership.
In the Pre-Prep and Prep Schools (3 – 13 years), the curriculum is enriched and influenced by the international nature of our school, our pupils and our physical and cultural surroundings to include lessons such as Forest School, Ballet, Swimming, Mandarin and Drama.
In the Senior School (13 – 18 years) pupils prepare for IGCSEs, followed by the two year International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP). A rich co-curriculum, including societies, lectures, educational visits, debates, and concerts, ensures pupils experience more than academics, fostering well-rounded individuals. The timetable is designed with flexibility to fully integrate co-curricular activities such as sports, outreach, and other enriching experiences.
