Nobel Algarve British °ÙÐãÖ±²¥ has long been regarded as Southern Portugal's premier international school. Currently comprising two campuses in the Algarve: the flagship school in Lagoa, and the new state-of-the-art campus in Almancil, launched in 2020, the campuses educate more than 1,400 students from more than 50 nationalities, aged 3 to 18.
21st-century learning for a better future
Nobel Algarve British °ÙÐãÖ±²¥ Lagoa offers a bilingual pre-school from 3 to 5 years old, following the British National Curriculum or the Portuguese Ministry of Education. Students in the international section follow a contextualised version of the British National Curriculum, sitting IGCSEs and A-Levels, with most of them going on to enrol in some of the world's leading higher-education institutions.
At Nobel Algarve British °ÙÐãÖ±²¥ Lagoa learning goes beyond the classroom, offering an activity rich programme, and an outdoor learning programme called the Journey, which promotes environmental awareness and equips pupils to face challenges confidently, building character so they manage difficulties with tenacity and resilience.
The school has unveiled ambitious expansion plans, an impressive project branded 'Nobel Algarve – Shaping the Future', which is being developed in different phases. The current campus is being equipped with new buildings and classrooms, featuring state-of-the-art facilities, a new multi-purpose gymnasium/performance space, a bespoke pre-school, and a brand-new canteen. The new Early Years facilities and canteen building have already been launched, and over the coming months, the remaining buildings will be completed and the outdoor spaces enhanced, to provide a welcoming atmosphere for learning and growth.
