THINK Global School (TGS) stands as the world's first and only traveling high school, offering an unparalleled educational experience for students aged 16–18. Founded in 2010 by visionary Joann McPike, TGS brings together 35 exceptional students from 20 countries to embark on a transformative two-year journey that redefines international education. Uniquely positioned as "A School for the Bravely Curious," the nomadic community travels to four countries each academic year, with students and faculty living, learning, and growing together in an immersive global classroom that spans continents.

THINK Global School's vision is to envision a future where learning is real, relevant, and deeply relational – where TGS sparks curiosity and forges connections to reveal a world of possibility. Rather than confining education to traditional classroom walls, the school leverages the entire world as its campus, creating authentic learning opportunities that connect academic study to real-world experiences. The small student body ensures unprecedented individualized attention, with a remarkable 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

Academic Excellence Through Innovation

At the heart of TGS's educational philosophy lies the award-winning Changemaker Curriculum, a groundbreaking approach that seamlessly blends experiential learning with project-based education. Students don't simply read about the world's challenges; they investigate them firsthand, developing innovative solutions through hands-on projects that address real issues in the communities they visit. This methodology has produced over 2,000 student projects to date, each contributing meaningful impact to local communities while developing essential 21st-century skills.

The academic program is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, ensuring that the innovative approach meets the highest educational standards. With 70% of faculty holding advanced degrees, students receive instruction from passionate educators who serve as mentors and collaborators in the learning journey. The results speak for themselves: TGS maintains a 100% graduation rate and an impressive 94% university matriculation rate, with graduates gaining admission to prestigious institutions worldwide including Oxford, Harvard, MIT, and other top-tier universities.

Global Values and Learning Environment

Central to the TGS experience are eight core values, each drawn from wisdom traditions around the world and lived through immersive cultural experiences. Students embody values including Kaizen (continuous improvement), Meraki (giving fully with soul and creativity), Satya (living with integrity), and Ubuntu (connecting to community wholeness). These values become lived experiences as students travel, offering a lens through which they see, engage, and grow while grounding them in their humanity.

The "campus" spans the globe, with students experiencing diverse learning environments from bustling international cities to ancient cultural sites, from innovative technology hubs to natural wonders worldwide. Each location is carefully selected to provide unique learning opportunities that align with the curriculum objectives and offer students exposure to different cultures, languages, and perspectives. TGS also maintains state-of-the-art technology resources that travel with the community, ensuring seamless integration of technology into the learning experience.

Graduate Profile and Future Readiness

TGS graduates emerge as curious, courageous, and connected individuals, prepared to shape the future with vision, joy, and care. The Graduate Profile reflects five core competencies: Thinks Critically & Curiously, Communicates with Purpose, Lives with Integrity, Designs Solutions that Matter, and Understands Systems & Interdependence. Students develop these competencies through real-world problem-solving, cultural immersion, and collaborative innovation.

Graduation requirements include a comprehensive portfolio showcasing the full TGS experience, a year-long Mastery Project demonstrating deep inquiry and purpose-driven learning, meaningful Service Learning experiences, and demonstrated competency mastery across disciplines. Graduates don't just leave with academic credentials – they step into their futures with the curiosity to ask beautiful questions, the skills to navigate rapid change, and the compassion to lead lives of integrity and meaningful contribution to the interconnected world.
